I have been registered as a psychologist since 2006 and have experience providing individual and group therapy to adults in public and private hospital settings and in private practice.
I started my career working in hospital programs, firstly in the drug and alcohol program at Delmont Private Hospital where I was involved in the delivery of individual and group therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients.
I then went on to spend many years at the Psychological Trauma Recovery Service (PTRS) Austin Hospital, a specialist state-wide service providing treatment to Veterans, current-serving ADF, Emergency Services Workers and adults experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other mental health issues following accidents and natural disasters. I also coordinated group programs for Veterans seeking treatment for alcohol and gambling addiction.
I later joined the OCD Inpatient Program at The Melbourne Clinic, providing intensive treatment for people from across Australia with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) during a three-week residential stay. I also helped facilitate two-week inpatient programs for depression and anxiety.
I started in private practice in 2017, first joining a group practice in Frankston, and then transitioning to solo private practice in 2020. My private practice work has continued to focus on Emergency Services Workers, Veterans and current-serving ADF, as well as adults seeking treatment for PTSD and OCD. I also work with clients with a range of presenting concerns, such as anxiety, depression, alcohol and gambling problems and stress.
